AVALON MAIN

The 2017 Australian International Airshow will be conducted at Avalon Airport (YMAV).

For AIRSHOW 2017, Avalon Airport may be referred to as Avalon Main and will have one available runway 18/36 – a sealed runway 3048 metres in length.

Access to Avalon Main will be restricted to participating (static and flying) display aircraft only. The only exceptions will be Charter Aircraft carrying exhibitor sponsored passengers from Tuesday 28 February - Thursday 2 March 2017.

A helicopter complex consisting of a single helipad and adjacent parking will be located south of the Expo site and approximately 500 metres east of the main runway. Refer to the AIPSUP for further details.

All arrivals and departures to and from Avalon Main requires pre-registration. Please refer to the Participant Registration page for further details.
