AVALON 2017 will feature a dazzling array of the latest and most capable military aircraft, as well as historic, sports and aerobatic flying displays.
In 2015, no less than 682 aircraft (from airliners, fast jets, helicopters, maritime patrol aircraft and business jets to recreational and sporting aircraft, antiques, warbirds, ultralights and gliders) participated in the show - either in the air or on the ground.
With the most comprehensive flying displays seen in the region and some of the most exciting aerial acts performed anywhere in the world, the Australian International Airshow at Avalon has gained the well-deserved reputation of being a brilliant aviation spectacular. Its unique "Night Alight" show on Friday night is always one of the highlights.
At AVALON 2017 the public air show and flying displays will assume even greater significance as cutting edge military strike aircraft are put through their paces.
The featured theme of the flying displays will be Air Power in Action.
