2015 show highlights

The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition provided a quality showcase for the world’s leading innovators in aerospace and defence wishing to display their products and services to the key decision makers from government, military and industry.

There was a palpable buzz throughout the exhibition halls as major companies networked with their prospective customers and those wishing to join their supply chains.

578 companies from 22 countries displayed their wares, services and technologies before an informed, focussed and highly motivated audience.

More than 33,000 accredited trade visitors attended the event during the three industry-only trade days, with a total event attendance of 169,251.

148 delegations including military, industry, bureaucratic and scientific personnel from 28 countries. They had come to learn, compare and evaluate the latest aerospace and defence technologies from around the world.

A comprehensive conference programme was also held in conjunction with the Exposition. These covered a variety of commercial and civil aviation, defence and scientific interests. There were 39 conferences and symposia held at AVALON 2015, which attracted more than 2,200 delegates and speakers.

A total of 599 accredited media from 18 countries attended the event.

Almost 700 aircraft of all shapes, sizes and designations participated in the event.

The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition has again proved to be the perfect venue for the serious business of doing business.
