The industry-only Trade Sessions of the 2017 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition are Tuesday 28 February, Wednesday 1 March and Thursday 2 March and until 1400 on Friday 3 March. Only qualified trade visitors may attend during these times. These industry-only Trade Sessions are reserved for those with a professional, business or operational involvement in aviation, aerospace, defence or related government or industry sectors.

Once this application is submitted online, you will be provided via email with an e-receipt that you will need to bring with you on your first day of arrival at the AVALON 2017 event.

Please note that this e-receipt, when issued, does not itself gain you access to AVALON 2017 - a separate trade visitor badge and Ticketmaster trade day ticket is required for admission*.

Trade visitor badges will be issued at the venue, after arrival, on satisfactory completion of the accreditation process to confirm eligibility as a qualified trade visitor.

Qualification as an industry executive, government official or defence professional is required. For accreditation purposes, evidence of government-service ID or corporate/industry affiliation (such as Defence ID, applicable business card, association membership card etc) will also be required. Conditions of entry may also apply.

Ticketmaster trade day tickets cost $65 per person per day. These can be purchased online via the Ticketmaster website prior to the event or you can purchase a trade day ticket on-site from the Ticketmaster booths on the day you attend AVALON 2017. Please note that if you wish to attend the event on multiple trade days, you will need to purchase multiple Ticketmaster trade day tickets to cover the days you attend.

On arrival at AVALON 2017, your e-receipt will be scanned at the trade visitor registration desks located at the main entrance gate and a trade visitor badge will be issued to you on confirmation of your accreditation. Your trade visitor badge will be valid for entry from Tuesday 28 February through to Thursday 2 March 2017 between 0900 and 1800 and on Friday 3 March between 0900 and 1400 ONLY.

You will only be able to pass through the main gate admission point to enter the event each day with a valid trade visitor badge AND a Ticketmaster trade day ticket*.

*All Defence personnel with current Defence ID are requested to pre- register for the event and will be given complimentary entry on Tuesday 28 February, Wednesday 1 March, Thursday 2 March and until 1200 (not 1400) on Friday 3 March. On arrival on-site, Defence personnel will be issued with a trade visitor badge and will be required to produce their Defence ID as they pass through the main gate admission point instead of a Ticketmaster trade day ticket. Defence personnel are requested to wear their military uniform (where applicable).

No person under the age of 16 years will be admitted to the trade day sessions of AVALON 2017 and a dress code applies. Appropriate business attire or applicable military uniform is required.

Official photographic identification (passport, driver's license, defence ID etc.) is necessary and must be carried with you at all times while attending AVALON 2017.

Please note that for security purposes, your information may be provided to relevant authorities.

There are a number of conferences and forums held in conjunction with AVALON 2017 that are open free of charge to accredited trade visitors at the event.

However, many of these require a separate delegate registration. Please visit the conference section of our website for further information.
