Drones and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), Unmanned Technology and Robotics are the fastest growing sectors in the modern aerospace industry. They are also transforming the construction, mining agriculture, film making, photography, real estate, transport – maintenance and resource sectors.

The Drone Zone will attract the professional business users, commercial drone pilots, fire and emergency responders, real estate photographers, film crews, farmers, security organisations, mining and resource operators, search and rescue professionals, and users of land based unmanned systems and robotics including local government.

The showcase hall will feature manufacturers, drone flying schools, repairers, suppliers and retailers along with service providers demonstrating how drones and robots can change your business applications. With 3 days of Free to Attend conferences and seminars featuring expert presenters, the Avalon Airshow – Drone Zone will provide commercial drone users new concepts, products and solutions. The dedicated drone zone and robot demonstration area adjacent to the expo and conference hall will feature product presentations every day.

In 2017 the Drone Zone was a huge success with trade visitors attending the conferences, seminars and listening to the experts from government and industry. Over 750 delegates attended the three day seminar program with over 8000 visiting the expo.
