The ABAA is a non-profit organisation, originally established some years ago as the Australian Business Aircraft Association, to act as a collective voice for the business aviation community in Australia, and to assist its members in all aviation-related matters.
The ABAA is a member of the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), headquartered in Montreal, Canada and the ABAA enjoys close ties with other business aircraft associations, such as the National Business Aviation Association Inc. located in Washington, DC.
One of the ABAA’s main aims is to promote the aviation interests of persons, firms and corporations in Australia operating aircraft in connection with their businesses and to attain wider recognition of the fact that aviation activities of the ABAA membership are of primary importance to the domestic economy of Australia.
