Avalon 2025 Careers Program is an event you absolutely cannot miss. Whether you're a secondary student in Year 7 or higher, a TAFE or tertiary student, a teacher, a career practitioner, or a parent, this day is packed with opportunities that will inspire and guide so many towards an exciting future.
Get ready to be engaged, inspired, and empowered through interactive activities, flying & static displays, key industry connections and interactive speaker programs.
Students will be able to connect with industry representatives exhibiting on the exhibition floor, investigate graduate opportunities with global companies, discover career trajectories within the Aviation, Aerospace and Defence.
The Avalon 2025 Careers Program is designed to engage, inspire, and educate students about the myriad of career pathways within the dynamic fields of Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology (STEM).
Registrations will commence late 2024.
Our Careers Day is a dedicated event where students and young professionals can explore various career opportunities in the aerospace, space and aviation industries. It includes presentations, workshops, flying & static displays and networking opportunities with industry experts.
The Avalon 2025 Careers Day takes place on Friday 28th March 2025 at Avalon Airport, Geelong from 10.00am - 2.00pm
Any secondary student in Year 7 or higher, a TAFE or tertiary student, a teacher, a career practitioner, or a supervising parent.

No. The Careers Day is free to all students, teachers, career practitioners and accompanying parents.
Notepad & pen. Prepare for being outdoors and based on expected weather. Wear comfy shoes as the event site is very large.
Yes, there will be meet & greet sessions available via our program. You will also be able to visit our exhibition halls and connect with industry teams at their stand.
Yes. We will have key resources available on our Avalon website.

Safety and the wellbeing of our attendees is our number one priority, and the event will follow all local health guidelines and risk management details. Onsite there will be first aid and rest areas, should this be required. If you are a school leader requesting risk assessment details please email here.

Yes. You can bring your own food onsite. There will be ample areas for shaded seating.
No, unfortunately the careers day is aimed directly at students from grade 7 - tertiary education. You can however attend our general public days and connect with our Industry partners in exhibition hall 4 and across the airshow to discuss career opportunities.
