ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT TO SUBMIT YOUR INNOVATION

At AVALON 2019 Toll Helicopters won an innovation award for its Aeromedical Crewing Excellence (ACE) Training Centre, including its sophisticated Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) system pictured.

If you believe your innovation is worth an award, you have one week left left to enter the $100,000 AVALON 2023 Innovation Awards.

Sponsored by Synergy Group and open to Australian companies and the Australian divisions of overseas companies, the awards highlight and reward Australian innovation in the way of a new or innovative product, process or research approach across three categories:

• National Innovation Award

• SME Innovation Award ($50,000 cash prize)

• Young Innovator Award ($50,000 cash prize)

Previous winners of the AVALON Innovation Awards include Toll Helicopters for creating the Aeromedical Crewing Excellence (ACE) Training Centre, Inovor Technologies for developing a novel nanosatellite platform and a unique Space Situational Awareness (SSA) application, and Graham Bell of NextAero for his ground-breaking work on an additively manufactured rocket engine, potentially reducing the costs of space launch.

Submissions will be judged on commercial success or demonstrated market potential, understanding of user needs and originality and innovation.

AVALON 2023 Innovation Award submissions close end of day on Monday 5 December.
