PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Avalon Australian International Airshow hosts a comprehensive and specialist conference program throughout the dedicated trade and industry sessions to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, networking and engagement.

The program presents sessions from expert convenors including the Royal Australian Air Force, Australian International Aerospace Congress, Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems (AAUS), Australian Department of Defence,  Australian Airports Association and many more. 

The conference program in 2025 will incorporate complimentary conferences which are open to any accredited Trade Visitor, specialist paid conferences which incur an additional fee and invitation only sessions with attendees managed by the individual conference convenor. The majority of sessions will be held on the Avalon event site within a custom-built conference facility.

Avalon Innovation Program

The Avalon Innovation Program incorporating the Innovation Awards and Pitchfest, aims to highlight and reward Australian individuals and organisations at the forefront of developing new and exciting products, services and business processes in the aviation and aerospace domain.

The Avalon Hub

Carefully integrated into the wider conference program, The Avalon Hub provides a platform for subject matter experts to present their vision, insights and solutions to the questions currently being posed by the wider aviation, aerospace and defence communities.

The Avalon Hub is open to all trade day attendees.

Expressions of interest to speak in The Avalon Hub will open in 2024.

Careers & Skills

The Avalon Careers & Skills program seeks to engage science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) students of all ages and inspire a continuation of studies and career pathway into the aviation, aerospace and defence sectors.

In 2023, Avalon hosted more than 600 students throughout the event from primary, secondary and tertiary levels who participated in formal presentations, exhibition tours, recruitment activities, interactive displays and visits to the weekend Tech Zone.
