The Avalon Australian International Airshow will take place at Avalon Airport which is 20kms from Geelong and 54kms from Melbourne. Access the event via car, bus, train or even fly in, with options for everyone.

If you are coming interstate via Gold Coast, Brisbane & Sydney you can fly direct to Avalon Airport while all other destinations are via Melbourne International Airport.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Myki will be your ticket to travel to the Avalon Australian International Airshow in 2025!
Customers can use their Myki card to travel via VLine train to and from Lara Railway Station, and then board the connecting VLine Bus Shuttle express to and from the airshow.
Customers will need to ensure they have a valid Myki to travel, which includes children travelling 5 years and over and either top up their card to their nominated amount, or purchase a Myki Pass valid for travel for 7 days.
Myki is valid for travel by train between Metropolitan Melbourne and Waurn Ponds, which includes Lara Railway Station. Currently, fares are capped at $10.60 for a Daily Full Fare and $5.30 for Concession. On the weekend, fares are capped at $7.20 Full Fare and $3.60 for Concession.

VLine Bus Shuttles will run express to the International Avalon Airshow daily from Tuesday to Sunday, running for up to 1 hour after gates close to get you home.
