Find out how LeoLabs Australia is keeping up with the complexities of the space environment in low Earth orbit, as part of the AVALON 2023 Hub conference program.
The AVALON 2023 conference program will run from Tuesday 28 February to Friday 3 March and, for the first time, trade visitors will be able to access the AVALON 2023 Hub program of speakers.
The Hub will present a cross-section of aviation, aerospace, defence and space subject matter experts in a daily schedule of 40-minute presentations.
President and Managing Director of LeoLabs Australia, Terry van Haren, will present Safety, Sustainability and Security in Low Earth Orbit - Live Update on Wednesday 1 March 2023 within the onsite conference centre at AVALON 2023.
Terry's presentation will discuss how the new space environment in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) is scaling with the exponential growth in new satellite operators, spacecraft and mega-constellations.
Low Earth Orbit, however, is already congested, contested and a competitive operating environment. LeoLabs, the largest commercial provider of resident space object data in Low Earth Orbit, will discuss keeping up with the complexities of this dynamic space environment with a live update on operations and events in LEO.
Terry van Haren served the Royal Australian Air Force as a Commander, Director, fighter pilot, and weapons officer and more recently as the Air and Space Attaché to the United States in Washington, DC, where he developed his passion for space by leading the Australian Embassy’s interagency space working group.
He believes that cooperation, between government departments, space agencies and commercial industry is the key to Space security and prosperity for like-minded democratic responsible space nations.
See Terry speak in the AVALON 2023 Hub, 1500- 1600 Wednesday 1 March 2023, Room 6, Conference Centre, AVALON 2023 Event Site. Registration is now open.
